LANDFILL COMPLIANCE
STI Engineering has worked with municipal and private landfill owners for over 30 years, investigating and analyzing compliance or environmental issues in their landfills.
The investigative processes and procedures utilized allow STI to accurately locate and assess most any environmental and compliance issues present in landfills today to then offer detailed reports on how to immediately rectify any issues discovered.
The STI processes are unique in the industry and allow for optimal design of many aspects of landfills, including gas collection systems, wells, drainage systems, liners and more.
From decades of pioneering work with piezo-penetrometer cone investigations, STI locates and maps all liquid and gas pressures, as well as vacuum zones, within the landfill. Some of the information gathered includes:
